PHOENIX, Oct. 13, 2026 – Spectrum Medical Care Center informar, a nonprofit healthcare provider serving Arizona’s LGBTQ+ community, has been named one of Arizona’s Most Admired Companies for 2026 by Az Business magazine and BestCompaniesAZ. The company also received a Spotlight award in the Customer Opinion category, an honor given to five of this year’s honorees.
The Most Admired Companies program recognizes the contributions and impact that Arizona’s best employers bring to the state. Companies are evaluated in five categories including workplace culture, innovation, social responsibility, customer opinion, and leadership excellence. The customer opinion category is an exclusive honor presented annually for the single organization that sets the absolute highest benchmark in Arizona for customer trust, exceptional service, and verified customer satisfaction.
For nearly three decades, Spectrum Medical has provided primary care, HIV care and prevention, sexual health and women’s health to LGBTQ+ Arizonans, people living with HIV and the broader community. In 2025, the organization served 3,271 patients across more than 10,000 clinic visits. Beyond the clinic, Spectrum’s outreach team participated in 216 community events, conducted more than 1,000 HIV tests, and distributed more than 118,000 condoms, helping expand access to essential prevention resources that reduce the risk of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
“For nearly 30 years, Spectrum Medical has been a place where LGBTQ+ Arizonans can get care without having to explain who they are,” said Mark Moeremans, CEO of Spectrum Medical Care Center. “This honor reflects the more than 50 clinicians and staff who keep that promise every day, and it comes at an exciting time as we prepare to grow and expand into a new facility that will provide an even higher level of care to our patients.”
The recognition comes as Spectrum Medical prepares to expand care for patients across the Valley. Its new Central Phoenix campus at 3003 N. Third St. is scheduled to open in early 2027, giving the organization room to triple patient capacity. The campus is already home to PrideCare Rx, an in-house pharmacy that opened in September. Spectrum Medical is also preparing to launch the Full-Spectrum Queer Gyno Care Initiative, led by OB-GYN Dr. Homyra Hadavand, which will offer gynecologic care designed with and for queer women and gender-expansive patients.
