Spectrum Medical Care Center CEO Mark Moeremans has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 list of Rising Stars: Healthcare Leaders Under 40.

The national list recognizes emerging leaders bringing new ideas, perspectives and momentum to the healthcare industry. Becker’s highlighted Mark’s leadership of more than 40 clinicians and staff across Spectrum’s primary and specialty care services, as well as his role in advancing the organization’s continued growth.

Under Mark’s leadership, Spectrum has moved forward with the development of a new 22,000-square-foot facility designed to triple exam capacity and house an independent pharmacy. He is also championing the Full-Spectrum Queer Gyno Care Initiative, which addresses gaps in care for queer women and gender-expansive individuals.

His work has included expanding access to HIV prevention services such as PrEP and PEP, growing Spectrum’s mobile health presence and strengthening its PrEP navigation program. In 2025, Spectrum participated in 216 community events, performed more than 1,000 HIV tests and distributed more than 118,000 condoms throughout the Phoenix area through its mobile clinic.

Mark has also publicly shared his experience receiving Yeztugo, a long-acting HIV prevention option, to help others learn more about the prevention choices available to them.

Before joining Spectrum Medical, Mark served as CEO and managing director of The Journey Venture Studio and as senior vice president of entrepreneurship and venture development at the Arizona Commerce Authority.

We’re proud to see Mark’s leadership and commitment to expanding accessible, affirming healthcare recognized nationally.
