At Spectrum Medical, we believe healthy communities are built through meaningful relationships with organizations who share our commitment to belonging and access. Beyond financial sponsorship, we offer collaboration on events, outreach, health education, and other efforts to co-create real, measurable community impact.

Where We Direct Our Support

Spectrum Medical prioritizes sponsorship opportunities that support one or more of the following areas:

  • LGBTQ+ Health & Well-Being

    Events and initiatives that support the health, safety, visibility, and well-being of LGBTQ+ communities.

  • HIV Prevention & Care

    Opportunities supporting people living with or affected by HIV, HIV prevention, sexual health education, testing, or access to care.

  • Health Equity & Healthcare Access

    Programs addressing barriers to healthcare and improving access for historically underserved communities.

  • Community Health & Education

    Opportunities that increase health awareness, provide education, connect individuals to resources, or promote healthier communities.

  • Mission-Aligned Community Partnerships

    Events and initiatives that meaningfully align with Spectrum Medical’s mission, vision, and values.

What to Include in
Your Application

If your organization has an event or opportunity that Spectrum Medical can support, please submit an application for funding and/or collaboration by using the Apply buttons on this page. All sponsorship requests must include the following:

  • A completed Spectrum Medical Sponsorship Request Application
  • Current W-9
  • IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter, if applicable
  • A sponsorship packet outlining available levels, benefits, and recognition opportunities
  • Clear event/program goals and anticipated impact

We give priority to requests from 501(c)(3) organizations, though other groups can still apply and will be evaluated on mission alignment and community impact.

Guidelines to Know Before You Apply

These guidelines help ensure your request is complete and ready for review. Please read them carefully before submitting your application.

  • Submit Online: To ensure a consistent review process, all applications must be submitted through the Spectrum Medical Sponsorship Request form. 

  • Apply in Advance: Please submit your request 45–90 days before sponsorship funding or materials are needed. 

  • Include All Documentation: Incomplete applications may not be considered. 

  • We Can’t Fund Every Request: Applications are approved based on alignment, impact, budget, and timing. Submission does not guarantee sponsorship. 

  • We Will Contact You: Spectrum Medical will notify organizations once a decision has been made regarding applications. There’s no need to follow up while your request is under review. 

  • Submit Each Opportunity Separately: A new application must be submitted for each event, program, or sponsorship opportunity. Previous sponsorship from Spectrum Medical does not guarantee future support.
  • Impact Report Requirement: Sponsorships granting more than $1,000 require a brief post-event impact report. The report should summarize the outcomes of the sponsored event or initiative, including attendance or reach, community impact, and how Spectrum Medical’s sponsorship supported the effort. These must be submitted within 30 days following the event or program.

  • Can my organization apply if our event is outside of Phoenix?

    Yes. Spectrum Medical may consider sponsorship opportunities across Arizona that align with our mission and serve communities connected to our patient population.

  • What if my organization doesn’t work on health issues, but still serves LGBTQ+ and underserved communities?

    We encourage you to still apply. We will consider any organization that advances community, LGBTQ+ well-being, or equitable access to resources.

  • Do you sponsor events led by schools, universities, or research institutions?

    Yes. We will consider applications that promote health education, LGBTQ+ wellness, HIV prevention, or other community impact.

  • My organization aligns with your mission, but is very new. Should we still apply?

    Yes, though we ask you to clearly communicate your goals, target audience, and how you’ll measure your impact. We understand that many organizations and groups are emerging, so our team will evaluate your stated mission and potential alongside organizational history.

  • How are sponsorship decisions made?

    Our internal team reviews each sponsorship request against our current priorities, budget, and fit within our focus areas.

  • Do you sponsor recurring or annual events?

    We do, but each event or program requires its own application that will be evaluated individually, along with past impact and current community need.

  • If our application is accepted, what kind of recognition do you prefer?

    In general, we appreciate clear and on-brand use of our name and logo on your event materials, on-site signage, and digital channels if applicable. Specific details will be discussed if your sponsorship is approved.

  • If my organization isn’t selected, can we reapply in the future?

    Yes. We welcome future applications, especially if your program evolves, your audience changes, or you feature stronger alignment with Spectrum Medical’s community goals.

  • Do you sponsor virtual or hybrid events?

    We may sponsor virtual or hybrid projects if they meet our application criteria for reach and impact.

  • What if our event date changes after approval?

    Please notify us as soon as possible. Significant changes to event planning may require an updated budget or impact reporting.

  • What information should our impact report include?

    At a minimum, we ask for details about your attendance/reach, key activities, how funds were allocated, and a discussion of stories or outcomes that show impact to the community. We can provide a template to you if needed following your sponsorship approval.
